Buima Deepens Collaboration with Chino Nova: Inaugurates First Solar Storage EV Charging Station Demonstration Site

Buima-KY (5543), in an effort to actively advance its energy storage wall system business, has deepened its collaboration with electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider Chino Nova Technology. Together, they have partnered with Kaohsiung’s Beigushan Qianguang Temple and Hetone Green Energy to establish Buima Energy’s first solar storage EV charging station demonstration site, marking a new chapter in the green energy and temple ESG transformation.

Buima Group’s General Manager, Zhuang Hongwei, stated that the group’s first solar storage EV charging station demonstration site utilizes solar photovoltaic power generation. It incorporates Buima Energy’s energy storage wall system, B.E.S.T (Buima Energy Storage Tile), along with Chino Nova’s 60kW AC mini charging piles. A 30-minute charge provides approximately 100 kilometers of driving range, offering convenient destination charging services for EV owners. This all-green energy EV charging station effectively overcomes the space constraints at Qianguang Temple. From planning to completion, it took less than a month to set up the fast-charging station, eliminating the need to apply for Taipower feeders and showcasing the competitive advantage of Buima’s energy storage wall system products.

Zhuang Hongwei pointed out that Buima Energy’s new distributed energy storage wall product boosts the energy storage system from 200 volts to 800 volts. This flexibility can accommodate various fast-charging stations, industrial factories, shopping malls, and community power dispatch and uninterruptible power system applications. The self-developed control system and EMS (Energy Management System) can form a small microgrid to balance the intermittent supply of solar energy and release stored power during peak demand, ensuring a stable supply and achieving self-generated electricity.

For example, Qianguang Temple uses lighting for 12 hours a day. With Buima Energy’s energy storage wall solution and intelligent data analysis and management, the power consumption model is optimized, and automatic power distribution adjustments can save more than 50% of electricity usage. This also mitigates the impact of power outages caused by natural disasters. With the global demand for renewable energy increasing, the microgrid concept is gaining more attention and will help expand Buima Energy’s business opportunities.

Chen Di-sheng, chairman of the Qianguang Temple Inheritance and Innovation Accelerator Center, stated that under the wave of ESG sustainability, the integration of traditional temples with solar storage technology provides a new direction for the sustainable transformation of temples, creating a new image of ESG sustainable technology. This cross-domain collaboration with Buima Energy and Chino Nova highlights their commitment to net-zero transition and energy conservation. They plan to install a second energy storage wall solution, ensuring that all temple electricity comes from green energy and achieving the future goal of zero grid electricity. Additionally, the innovative “electric gold donation” method allows worshipers to donate voluntarily, perfectly combining technology with tradition and showcasing the unique temple culture.

Chino Nova Technology’s Chairman, Lin Feihong, remarked that with the rapid rise of the global EV market in recent years, Chino Nova is committed to providing various solutions to meet cross-sector charging needs and promote low-carbon transportation. Buima Group and Chino Nova are actively advancing the “small and medium-sized EV charging station storage integration solution,” planning to establish demonstration sites in the United States, Europe, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. They are also investing in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) reverse charging technology, enhancing the resilience of global microgrids. This collaboration strengthens product technology, business resources, and marketing promotion, adding a new wave of business momentum for both parties.
